The federal government is spending more than 26 billion rupees to supply natural gas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
A spokesman for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) said this while talking to media in Peshawar on Saturday.
He said that various gas supply projects are under progress in Hazara, Malakand, Mardan, Kohat, Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan divisions.
He added that the government completed over 1,000 projects in KP during FY 2018-19.
Spokeswoman SNGPL said the supply of natural gas would ensure forest protection in the province.
